Membership Information

ACGA MembershipACGA welcomes all clay and glass artists, educators, collectors, art professionals and everyone interested in the creative practice and appreciation of the ceramic and glass arts. You must be a California resident to join ACGA. Our Association strives to provide valuable benefits to all its members. All members receive our bi-monthly newsletter. There is a jury process for members wishing to participate in the ACGA Festival, and some other exhibits and sales.

Benefits of Membership

  • Members are eligible to apply for ACGA shows, online sales, and exhibitions.
  • Members receive a subscription to ACGA’s bi-monthly newsletter.
  • Members have voting privileges for electing ACGA’s Board of Directors
  • Members may post a public profile on ACGA’s website
  • Members may request a listing for Open Studios, Exhibitions, Workshops and Classes on ACGA’s EVENTS pages.

Jury Process

To learn about the Jury Process for participating in the annual ACGA Festival, please visit our Jury Process page. Once you are accepted as a festival-eligible artist you may participate in the annual Clay and Glass Festival for as long as your membership with ACGA is held in good standing. The Spring 2024 Jury Deadline is April 10th.

Membership Categories

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP (Individual)

Dues are $65 yearly. New members may join ACGA at any time. Membership renewal takes place during the month of December. There is a late fee of $10 for renewals after January 1st. New members joining after June 30th will pay only $45 for the remainder of the year.

COLLABORATIVE MEMBERSHIP (Two members working together on a single body of work.)

Dues are $75 yearly. New members may join ACGA at any time. Membership renewal takes place during the month of December. There is a late fee of $10 for renewals after January 1st. New members joining after June 30th will pay only $55 for the remainder of the year.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Student membership is for full-time students at an academic institution.

Yearly dues are $15. Students are entitled to two years of student-rate membership. Membership renewal takes place during the month of December. There is a late fee of $10 for renewals after January 1st.  Students will be required to show proof of their full-time status as students.

BENEFITS OF STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

  • Subscription to ACGA’s bi-monthly newsletter.
  • A public profile on ACGA’s website.

Sponsor Members are suppliers, retail outlets, galleries, businesses, art centers, individuals and institutions who support ACGA and its goals.

There are 2 different levels of Sponsor membership.

Gold Level:
Dues are $150 yearly. Membership renewal takes place during the month of December. There is a late fee of $10 for renewals after January 1st.

BENEFITS OF GOLD SPONSOR MEMBERSHIP

  • Inclusion in our website sponsor page
  • A link from ACGA.net to your website
  • Subscription to ACGA’s bi-monthly newsletter
  • Free event listing of your clay and glass related events on our website.
  • 3 text ad placements in newsletter (per year)

Platinum Level:
Dues are $250 yearly. Membership renewal takes place during the month of December. There is a late fee of $10 for renewals after January 1st.
